Rs.1,854,200 Worth Compensation for victims of wild elephant attack
Last year the human properties were damaged by the elephant attack in the month of August, September and October. Totally 27 persons whose effected by this damage in our karaitivu divisional secretariat area. Those damage were happened in 6 divisions, those were Karaitivu - 07, Karaitivu -10, Karaitivu - 11, Karaitivu -12, Mavadipalli - East and Mavadipalli - West.
This event held under the leadership of Karaitivu Divisional Secretary Mrs. Rahulanayaki Sajinthiran, in coordination with the Disaster Relief Service Officers, was held today Wednesday (2024.07.17) at Karaitivu Divisional Secretariat Auditorium. Althought, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. S. Partheepan, Administrative Village Officer, Technical Officer, Development Officers and Village Officers in charge of the divisions was attended in occasion.
