World Environmental Day
On the occasion of June 05 International Environment Day, under the leadership of Karaitivu Divisional Secretary and Chairman of Karaitivu Green Village Association, Mr. S. Jegarajan, a sapling planting event was held in Karaitivu-09 section in the veddu vaikkal area.
Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. S. Partheepan of Karaitivu Divisional Secretary and staffs, District Secretariat officials, village servants, Medical Officer of Health, Senior Public Health Inspector and Health Inspectors, officers and employees of Karaitivu Pradeshiya Sabha, Karaitivu Police Station officers and members of Karaitivu Green Club were present on this occasion.
